so i went to see a film program curated by a friend of mine at Eyebeam last night. it was called "How To Be A Canadian." so in a continuation, i am posting my favorite track off the new Tegan & Sara album "So Jealous." they are canadians, by the way. i'm still a bit shocked that in my 2 weeks in vancouver this summer, no one mentioned them to me. i had to get back to nyc to hear about this duo (and one of them lives in vancouver too). on a side note, this is the first band whose live bootlegs have made me want to see them even more. their on-stage banter is very personable, lighthearted and amusing. i would definitely recommend catching them live on their coming/current tour.
