so i finally went to visit this mythical alphabet city dwelling of the infamous Zipco. damn that boy has some strange taste in furniture. not really all that comfortable either. and he had this poor pet monkey wandering around whimpering with all this stuff stuck in him. . . but if you got anywhere near it, he would just hiss and snarl at you before going back to wandering and whimpering. whatever, the man rides a zebra bike, what did you expect?

so these guys stumbled across my roommate, The Goddamn Rattlesnake, on myspace and promptly set up a show for both of them to play. there was some talk about the new genre of "Death Country" and it was humorous. they played together and we were all really impressed. this one song they played was stuck in my head for days and i was pissed i wasn't able to get a copy of their cd at the show. well now i have it and i can finally share that great song that felt instantly familiar and classic. so here's a little O' Death to start your monday right.
