THE SCENT OF OIL PAINT AND STALE CIGARETTES. . . THAT'S IT, SHE SAID

so in the past 72 hours, i have slept for four. the shoot last night was an bonafide all-nighter (and my assistant dragged her poor boyfriend to it, not knowing what he was getting in to). i was so out of it this morning that i couldn't find my way out of the subway. . . at my usual stop for work. . . and it only has two exits.
in a very heavily related note, i won't be at my usual desk job after today. . . for a very long while. so posting may get more sporadic, or more interesting, or both. who knows. but i have a feeling Covers Comp #4 will be dropping soon. . . so start salivating now.

and to get you in the cover song mood, here's Leatherface covering Tom Waits. might have to be in an optimistic-mainstream-sunshine kinda mood to really appreciate it though. either way, i'll always associate this with my first and only trip to london. . . ahh the memories of trying to sleeping in trafalgar square, nothin' else compares.
