no better way to burn the debris of another year's passing than some out-of-the-frying-pan-into-the-fire traveling. although i normally don't make a habit of doing it in places where reping brooklyn makes you a pussy. where traffic jams can be caused by highway closures due to gun battles. or where sometimes the only difference between the police and drug-running gangs is that one side wears uniforms. but hey, i can't say it's boring.

something tells me my habit of late-night wandering in pursuit of my more "arty" photos might be a bit more interesting than usual here.
