I'm in Cleveland helping my mom move out of her cardboard-cut-out cluster home into a pretty tiny duplex/condo/apartment thing. It's always a bit sad packing up and leaving a place that housed so many memories. But it's a bit more disconcerting to be moving your mom into a place with flickering/failing lights in the parking lot where you have to cart all your trash down to the "dump area." I'd forgotten how shitty flourescent kitchen lighting looks.
