LAME IN THE GAME

(being drawn-n-quartered by bicycles)
This Thanksgiving weekend screwed me all up. I've been totally off-step and stumbling along like a drunken sailor since then. But eh, whatever, my problem not yours. You should go to this show in Brooklyn on Thursday.

This track was submitted by a reader who claims it "tops all the covers that i've heard you post." I'm not gonna argue, it's a great cover of the Boss. Anyone want to contest this claim? Is this the best?

I say that most of the covers you have posted are better than that one, especially Witchcraft and the Klaxons
i will attest that tricky's cover of the cure's 'love cats' is the best cover ever. (esp since the original version is so...bad?) that's just me.

For me, nothing tops the Husker Du cover of Eight Miles High fro9m THe Byrds.
My blog just ran a "best covers of the 21 Century" post. If you're curious . . .

Have you ever tried to make love to Husker Du? Body parts always end up raw.
